The Chevra Kadisha Cemetery Association was formed in 1920 to provide Jewish burials in a traditional manner, and at reasonable expense.  At Chevra Kadisha Cemetery, we have a tradition of providing compassionate and perpetual spiritual care for generations of loved ones. Nestled in a quiet corner of University City, the cemetery occupies 11 acres, with ample space for future generations.  

For over 80 years, our Executive Board has guided the cemetery association to guarantee that all Jews, regardless of synagogue or temple affiliation, have the opportunity to receive a proper Jewish burial.
